What an awsome experience for me. This is a family that Jared baptised when he served a mission in Cancun 7 1/2 years ago. It was the best part of the trip. Jareds face was speachless. To see how happy he was when he got to see them was so neat for me to see. They invited us over for lunch on Tuesday afternoon. They do not speak English so it was different to sit there and just listen. Jared is not a good interperter. But to see the way that he communicated with them was the best experience. They have 3 children. 1 boy and 2 girls. When Jared was there the youngest was only a baby. They have a picture of Jared holding her. She is now 8. The oldest boy remembered Jared right off the bat. The mom brought out a Book of Mormon that Jared gave them when they got baptised. The cool thing about it was that it had his name on it.

This is Tulum. There are also Mayan Ruins there and this is off the peir. What a beautiful place. Jared and I think that this was the prettiest place that we went to.

Mexico Pictures

Ok so this is kind of funny. On Monday we went on our tour. We left the lobby at 8:00 that morning. When we came back for the tour it was like 8:00 that night. They wouldn't let the bus driver take us to the lobby and we all wondered why. When we got back to our rooms there were notes on our door saying that our lobby had burned down and they were working night and day to get every one that had to get out of there rooms back into them. Lucky for us we didn't have to move out of our rooms!! This is the smoke that someone else posted on the internet.

Jared and I leave for Mexico in a couple of weeks so the count down is on. I can't wait! I will for sure put pictures on when we get back.

Jared served his mission there so we are going back with his aunts and uncles and grandparents. It will be a lot of fun. And what could be better, time off work with my husband!!!!

Jared and Kona Harper

Ok so i am also new at this. But i love it!! It is nice to see everybody. Some blogs that I have looked at I haven't seen the people since high school.

Jared and I have been married for a year and a half. It has been a lot of fun. One of my favorite sayings is "Happiness is being married to my best friend." That is so true. I love spending time with Jared. Jared graduated from Minico high school. I know, I always said that i would never marry someone from the other side of the river and I did.

This is mine and Jared's 2nd Thanksgiving together, and I am so thankful for him. We didn't date very long but i knew after the 3rd date that i loved him. As I sat with all of my family on Thanksgiving I realized how lucky I was. What a great family I have.

That is just a few things about Jared and I. I can't wait to get to see more people and learn how to do this better. Thanks to my sister Chalet for the pictures.

I will try my best to stay up with this!! Can't wait to hear from everyone!!
