Salt Lake Fun

Jared and I went to Salt Lake this last weekend and had a great time with my family. We went shopping at the Gateway, had dinner and then went to the hotel. Sunday morning we went to Little America and had breakfast brunch. If you haven't done that before, it is great food.

As you can see on Conner's face he loved the chocolate food!!!

Taygen kind of likes her uncle Jared. He carried her on his shoulders most of the time that we walked around.

Max was hungry that he eat all the french fries.

As you can tell Mindy and Cody's kids love having their pictures taken.

Christmas Slippers

Christmas Slippers... I Need to know your size!!!

My dear friends,Some what embarrassing to admit, but Christmas is tight this year.

I will be making bedroom slippers for you all as gifts.

Please let me know your sizes. You'll most likely agree that it's a splendid idea,

and should you wish to do the same,

I've included the instructions below.

How to make bedroom slippers:You need four maxi pads to make a pair.Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers (this is most aesthetically appealing), etc.

Bath Time

Celeste and her husband Clay were down this last week for Thanksgiving. We had so much fun. On Friday night i took Karson and Rylee and had a sleep over. They were so fun to have. They played all do and all night. On saturday Rylee kept saying that he wanted a bath so i tried to put him in first and then put Karson in but as you can see that didn't work. Karson started to cry because he wanted in with Rylee and Rylee started to cry because he wanted Karson in with him.

I was doing the dishes and had the bathroom door open so i could watch them, and as i was putting dishes away they got out all of my shampoo bottles and opened all of the ones that they could and filled them up with water.(lucky for me they didn't have much shampoo in them!!!!)

This was them getting caught putting water in the bottles. How would you not just laugh at them. They are so cute!!!!

Chalet

For those of you that know or don't know my sister Chalet has MS. She had an MRI last week and she got the results from the doctor, which was not good news. The lesion on her spinal column has gotten bigger. She is have some very powerful treatments right now and then they are going to give her a new shot to take every day. So with this in mind anyone that reads this will you please keep her in your prayers and thoughts as she goes through this hard time!! I love Chalet and i am glad to call her my sister. She is so strong and i don't know what i would do with out her!! She has always been there for me with all of the struggles i have been through. She has the best spirits of any one i know!!! Chalet i love you!!!

Halloween

So when you don't have kids you can dress up your pets!!!! My pictures are out of order but the dogs played for a little bit but then they just layed there and didn't move. It was so funny.

Jared wanted to dress up to so he got this old Grandpa's mask. It was so funny. When he walked in the door Baylor just started barking and growling. He didn't like that at all.

There was a little angle outfit but we thought that the witch was cuter.

This is funny.

So i saw this on a friends blog and i thought it was funny. If you can't tell i am so bored at work! Let me know what you think! I think i have found myself doing all of these!!!

1-Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
2-Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. 'Five minutes' is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
3-Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with 'nothing' usually end in 'fine'.
4- Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
5- Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about 'nothing'. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of 'nothing'.)
6- That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. 'That's okay' means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
7-Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' ... that will bring on a 'whatever').
8-Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying 'SCREW YOU'!
9-Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3

Can you believe this!!!

So this time of year i love because of the trees changing color and the leafs on the ground. I love the chill in the year knowing that winter is coming, and that the holidays are around the corner. I said just the other day to my boss that i only like winter if it snows. Well what did i get. SNOW!!!! i cant believe it! We had like 18 inches . This is what i get for wishing and hoping for snow! This picture is taken at my work. These picture show nothing compared to how much snow there is! The guy on the radio said on Saturday that we skipped over spring and now we skipped over fall. But the sad thing is that on Thursday it is suppose to be in the 70's so we will have a water every were.

Taking the big step!!

So after this post i know people are going to think i am spoiled and i know that i am. I have never bought a car on my own, my dad has always given me a car to drive. i am so thankful for him. I would have never been able to get one on my own. When i got divorced and both the white cars broke down dad was there to get me another one. I have never had to pay insurance also. He has always paid for that and he has always paid to have it registered. I know i have been spoiled!! Well Jared called me yesterday at work and told me he would like to go and look at a Yukon, so i said OK. Well here it it. I was so scared to get it because i have never had to have a car payment, let alone taken out a loan!! So this is it!! I really like and it is really nice. We got a really good deal on it. There is a guy out at Jared's work that wants to buy the Jeep and he has wanted it for some time now, so we are going to sale it to him and then drive the purple car for a little bit longer. Jared is suppost to be getting a truck with his new job that starts on November 1st. So he will be stuck with the purple car until then. I am so ready for Jared to start his new job. It will be so nice. So other than buying a car nothing new is going on with Jared and I. We are getting ready for winter. I love the fall and winter. It means allot of Family time, with the holidays right around the corner. I can't wait to go to the cabin and be in all of the snow. most of all i can't wait to spend time with all of the special nieces and nephews!!! then mean the world to me and i wish that i lives closer so i could see all of them more!!!

You will have to excuse me on this one but TANNER i want you to know that you are in my prayers and i LOVE YOU!! You are a special spirit and i know that the Lord will protect you and everything will go fine!! He knows that you can handle it. Just remember to be strong for me!! You are my inspiration and i am so glad you are my nephew!!!!!

Mindy hold your head high!!! Know that the lord loves you and that he also only gives you things that he knows you can handle!! Everything will be fine and Tanner will be great!!! I love you and know that you are a very special person. Tanner and your family will be in Jared and my prayers!! I love you guys!! Keep us posted!!!!

Temple

Last night I had the opportunity to go and do a section at the new Twin Falls Temple!! It was so cool!! When you go through the open house but when you go through to do a session it is allot different. The Spirit was so strong. I went with my Aunt Holly and Doug. They are the best people and i am so lucky to have across the street from me. I am so thankful for their example. I am so thankful for the gospel that i have in my life. I am thankful for the opportunity that i have to be a member of the church!! I told Holly last night that i wanted to make it a habit of going to the temple. She agreed with me. It was one of those nights that you didn't want to leave and wished that you could stay there all night!

So we have a new member of the Harper Family!! This is Bella. She is so fun. We got her to help Baylor to mellow down and to have a friend for him while we are gone at work all day. She was the runt of the litter, so she is still small. Her brother is like 3 times her size so i hope she stays small. Her and Baylor play good together now. He didn't know if he really liked her when we first got her but he is doing better now!!
As you can see she loves kids!! Macy carries her around all day long.

Washington Weekend Getaway!!!

So Spokane was a great trip. Allot of car riding but Jared and I had a great time. I think we watched like 7 movie on the drive. Spokane was so green. This is right down town Spokane. We got there about 20 minutes before Jared had to be in meetings so i just walked around for a little while. They have this big walking park all around this little lake. It was so beautiful.
On Saturday we went out to one of the owners house on Loon Lake. We got to ride the jet skies and then ride in the boat. It was beautiful. I thought that i was in Island Park. This is there place.
Sally's (Dick one of the owners wife) is a good flower planter. I wish you could have been there. This picture is nothing compared to what it looked like in real life. We had a great time getting to know the people that Jared is going to start working with. They are great people and it will be a great company to work for!!!

It was like we were right on the coast, but it was this little lake. If any of the IER see this blog, thanks for everything that you did for us this weekend. I can't wait to see you all again!!

Jamie

Ok so if any of you know Chalet's sister in law Jamie you know that she is very shy. I was able to go to girls camp the end of July and Jamie went also. I thought that Cara would love these pictures. I never thought that Jamie would be so funny. She was the cutist little frog. She was laugh and just have a great time. Jamie is that type that is so quite you forget that she is there, but she got out in front of every one and did a great job at making every one laugh. WAY TO GO JAMIE.

We are Off

We are off to Washington for Jared's job!!! It should be a lot of fun!! i will have pictures on when we get back. Hopefully while we are there they will tell us when Jared is going to start working for them!!! We can't wait for that!!!

I am so thankful for Jared and his choice to work for them to provide for our family. He is a hard worker and i am so thankful for that!!!

NEW BABY

Jared's sister had her baby!!! Craig Emmitt Stevens. Mom and baby are doing great!!! Congrats guys we love you!!!!!

What a crazy week. It started with Jared family reunion and then it was off to Girls Camp. I must say what a great group of girls we have in our ward!!! I am so thankful that they were great girls. Wednesday after the hike we went to Nan Soo Pah. It was so nice after not showering and being in the sun, and on the hike.
This is the gang!!! The pink shirt is the girls that are first year to fourth years. the green is youth leader and the blue are the ward leaders. I was girls camp leader, but i couldn't have done it with out the rest of the leaders!!! It was a great time but it is so nice to be home. Wait I am not home yet! I came to Boise on Friday after work to watch Jason and Heather's kids for their anniversary, It will be nice to be home tomorrow!!!

We have a new BABY!!! Mason Harper 6lbs i don't remember the ounces 17 1/2 in long. He was born at 9:55 am this morning!! I will have a picture later!! Mom and baby are doing great!!!

Princess Party!!

So Jared and i thought that it would be fun to have Macy and Malia come over and spend the night. Jared wanted to go and get them a suprise so when they came to our house they would have something to do. So as you can see we had a Princess Party. Jared got them a chest that was full of dress up clothes.

I wish that you could have been there. Macy wanted all of the clothes on at the same time. She got some mad that she couldn't becaues Malia wanted to dress up also.

Malia took her hair out of her cute bow that her mom had put in and this is what her hair looked like after she got done dancing. After they were done dressing up we got them the movie Robin Hood and we had popcorn and watched the movie and had a lot of fun! Thanks for a great time girls!! We love you and can't wait to have a Princess Party again!!!!

Swimming Fun

Jared's family loves to go swimming. We went a couple of weeks ago and went with his mom and dad and his little brother Mark and his wife Amy. Their little boy Rylee loved to go down the water slide so i go my camera to take a picture as he came out. He love to look at his picture. The whole way home he wanted my camera
From the day that Rylee was born his eyes were so big!! I just love looking at his eyes.

Rylee doesn't really like me for some reason so when ever we have pictures Jared is always holding him!!



This is Jared's mom and dad and then Mark. We had alot of fun!!! Durning the summer we go to Nat Soo Pah Hot Springs alot. It is always alot of fun!!!

GO CARTS!!!

So much fun!!! Jason and Jared had a great time. They would try and block the road so that no one could get by and then they would try and spin people out. There is no bumping aloud, and if they see you they will give you a warning and then if you do it again you get kicked out. Yes Jason got in trouble but the marker they used can be washed off with water so he did have a mark. Yes Jared also got in trouble but not until the last round.


Their baby sitter could only stay with the kids until 4:00 so we all didn't get enough of the go carts so we went back and got the other kids and came back. It was allot of fun. Jason and Jared would take Austin and Dylan on the cars. Hailey was to little so her and i went on the bumper boats together. Jared and the rest of the family thought that it would be fun to get me and Hailey. Her and i came out the wetter then any one. We had allot of fun!!! Thanks Jason and Heather for a great day!! We will have to do it again!!! We love you guys!!!

Fun with Family

ok so it has been awhile from the last time i put something on here. A couple of weeks ago we went to Boise and had a play day with Jason and Heather. They got a babysitter because it was fathers day and they wanted to have some time together. I told Jason that he still had to take one and he said "I can put her in her sit and she cant run away, she doesn't back talk, and all in all she is a good baby." And that she was. We went to Boondocks and did the go carts. It was alot of fun. Jared and Jason had a ball. By this time she was tired and wanted a nap. So this was the only time she really cried is when she was tired.
How peacefull. Heather and I took turns going so one of us stayed with the baby. She is a very good baby!!!

The best Dad ever!!

On Sunday it was Fathers Day, i had a chance to think about my dad. I am so lucky to have the dad that i have. I don't know what i would do with out him. My dad is always there for me when i need some advise and i know that i can come to him when ever i need to. Thanks Dad for all that you do for me. I know this is late but i have had how lucky i am on my mind for a couple of days now and i am so thankful for him. Love ya Dad!!!!

Swimming in Boise

We went to the hotel and swam with the kids when we went down for Savannaha's blessing. Mom having a special moment with her 8th grandchild. It was alot of fun. Max didnt' like the water very much. It was kind of cold!

Hailey is my little angle!!! She and I have so much fun with each other!!!I always end up laughing when Hailey Jo is around.
She was pushing me back so i fell back like she was so strong that she pushed us over. She thought that it was so funny.

I must say that i think i have a way with kids. These three all wanted to swim with me at the same time. They didn't want to swim by theirselves, they wanted to be altogether. I think Tanner's face says it all. Come on girls, get in the water. Party Poopers!!!!!!
